Embracing humanity is the key to a future-proof legal profession.

In an age where artificial intelligence and technology are reshaping our world, the unique human element lawyers bring is more valuable than ever.

That’s why well-being and emotional intelligence are not nice-to-have soft skills — they are the bedrock of a law firm that will thrive today and into the future.

Energized and Excited Individual Lawyers,

a Bright, Productive Future for Legal Employers,

and Transformation for the Entire Legal Profession

This is what’s possible for you and your firm, once you’ve learned to practice well, lead well, and live well.

If you’re anything like us, you’re probably:

✓ Eager to enhance well-being within your firm in a way that works long-term — no more one-off bandaid solutions!

✓ Searching for a deeper sense of success and meaning in your legal career — wondering, is this all there is?

✓ Exhausted from the constant stress, and frankly, tired of the stereotypes surrounding lawyers — haven’t we heard enough crappy lawyer jokes?

Or maybe you're just curious about my decision to leave a C-Suite position in one of the top 100 law firms in the U.S. What's Kendra up to now, you might ask? Here's your answer:

I'm wholly committed to lawyer well-being — a mission too vital to delay. It's about creating meaningful change, one firm and one lawyer at a time.

Now's the moment to dive in.

I’m Kendra Brodin, Founder and CEO of EsquireWell.

Maybe you still remember it? The dream we had when we started down this path: successfully practicing law without sacrificing the rest of our lives — our health, meaningful relationships, and (do I dare mention the “H” word?) happiness.

Was this too much to ask? I don’t think so.

Through my work with EsquireWell, I’ve come to know that happy, productive, and successful lawyers are not just possible. They’re essential — for your firm’s success, for your clients’ success, and for the success of our entire profession.

Armed with a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, a law degree from the University of Minnesota, and over two decades in the legal profession helping lawyers and legal professionals find life-giving (not life-sucking) ways to practice law, I now lead EsquireWell, a pioneering force in reshaping the legal industry toward a balance of success and well-being.

I look forward to getting to know you and working together to help lawyers and legal professionals practice well ... and live well. That's my passion and why I founded EsquireWell. Thank you for being a part of this movement with me.
